Here’s what’s been going on
What recent surveys say about agencies and AI.
A year made the difference
Every year, the GRID industry survey asks recruitment firms worldwide how their business is doing. In the 2025 survey, firms using AI were 25 to 40% more likely to have grown revenue than firms that weren’t. In the 2026 survey, they were 3.5 to 4.5 times more likely. Between the two surveys, the share of firms still at the basic generative AI stage fell from 52% to 29%. And 30% had moved on to AI agents in some form.3
